The Museum of Tomorrow presented a facility at the 8th World Water Forum, which featured technology produced by SuperUber.
The experience invites visitors to see a cube covered by satellite photographs that show the Earth from space.
Within this environment, people will use virtual reality glasses and swivel chairs to watch a film about the Anthropocene, which according to the theory presented by the museum, is the geological time dominated by humans. The film also shows the effects of the uncontrolled exploitation of the planet by the human species.
"We have consumed more resources on the planet in the last 60 years than anything consumed in the previous 200,000 years. The idea of the cube is to show the results of human actions on Earth, which is our only home" says Ricardo Piquet, director-president of the Museum of Tomorrow.
At the Shell sponsored attraction in Brasilia, groups of 15 visitors took part in the experiment, which featured a 10-minute video divided into two parts: a content that talks about the planet's water issues and the video area of the Anthropocene, installed in the Main Exhibition of the Museum.
